Qualifications for membership Persons eligible for membership must be an active or retired police officer, an active or retired reserve officer, active or retired military, or a full-time firefighter, employed by a municipal, county, state, or federal firefighting agency. Also eligible for membership are any law enforcement officers with proof of PC832 (arrest/firearms powers). The immediate family and spouse of law enforcement officers, military, and firefighters may join as secondary members. (Immediate family is defined as: MOTHER, FATHER, BROTHER, SISTER, OFFSPRING) Spouse and children 21 years and under of the secondary members are eligible to join. The qualifying officer or firefighter must be a member of the NPRA in good standing for the immediate family or spouses to join. No member of a professional rodeo association or organization will be eligible for membership if they have received more than $2,000.00 in winnings in the previous year in that association.
